Before we go too far along setting up the factions, etc. Let's see what sort of domains people are interested in playing. Please respond by ranking the following types from most preferred to least preferred
Landed domain Temple domain Guild domain Source domain.

As a further qualification, I'm not opposed to playing a landed regent. If I were to assign values, rating each preference 1 - 5 with 5 being the highest, my rankings would be:
Temple 5 Landed 4.5 Source 3 Guild 1
The campaign will probably benefit from having a majority of landed regents. That being the case, I'd rather play a landed regent if that makes the campaign work better. Or, perhaps I can play a paladin-equivalent (sohei?); if memory serves, paladins get regency from both temple and land properties.

At present I have no such position, but seeing as it's really just a matter of changing the regent's name it wouldn't be hard to arrange. Maybe combine a Temple with one of the weaker clans. I will keep that in mind for you.

There is, or will be, any realm like Brosengae? I would like to play a lord/guilder.

Not at this point, and that is a little harder to create as the guilds are held by non-noble families, but I have a couple ideas as to how to arrange it.

That's not one I had considered, and not a bad one at all. But, I think that sort of thing is better left to play than as a starting position for a player.
I say that because i think having the Lord a controlled NPC rather than the PC is too great a vulnerability to saddle a player with right at the start.

The idea I was going with was to take one of the single province Lordships and combining that with one of the guild domains and to explain it by saying the Guild regent's father or grandfather had married an heiress.
