Thanks, I'll never be a good wageslave. Suprisingly hectic week so far, expect some diplomatic posts coming up the next couple of days.

On account of my extended absence, I'm currently waist high in the parts of my unfortunate PC. Tomorrow I can hopefully give decent attention to the game!

As far as the deadline goes, since we are down to just 3 players, we can extend the deadline if people want

I will be home tomorrow so I can check, but as far as I remember my turn is filled in completely. Only Maggie her court session requires my attention still this turn. And unless anything urgent is intented for discussion there, Ifor me it is fine if it happens after I've handed in my turn

Me too, other than finishing the Court Session, I am done as well, but I wouldn't mind getting that sorted out as much as possible before we move forward, as convening such a meeting burns through a lot of valuable court actions, of which I don't have too many.
Also, for Bob, is there some way we can set up some sort of semi-permanent joint command structure to facilitate information sharing and planning, or do we have to take multiple Diplomacy actions each turn to do it?

Well like I said, we can delay things a bit so you can can settle on a general plan.
That would effectively be an Embassy structure, which gives you a free Diplomacy action. They are only 5 GB to build so it shouldn't take more than 2 DT to complete one. However, you would have to build one in each of the Abe and Maeda lands and they would each also have to build one in each others and in yours as well. That would give each of you a free Diplomacy with each of your partners. Another thing you could do is to jointly appoint a supreme commander, using the Establish Field Army/Establish Task Force actions to establish your own force under your own commander, with orders for them to follow the orders of the over all commander. In the last war, the Abe did this with their fleet, putting it under the command of the Maeda admiral.

I would build the embassies then. Except for specific naval or military engagements the Fukuchi forces will work under their own command for this. At least that was my intention. With the idea of dividing Tsoa into zones, we could appoint a Clan in charge of operations per zone. Or a supreme commander for our troops to follow but I am hesistant on that regard.

ARG!! More things I have to use court actions for! I need a bigger court, time to move my capital or build a palace I guess.
