3 suggestions for wars:
Suggestion 1. Get the players involved to write a campaign plan (p176 Regents Guide) for the first Action Round (AR).
Bob then makes the unit moves, runs the battles, etc for the AR and advises the participants of the detailed actions taken by their armies and gives them a 48 hr response time, take the responses, rework the results and then publish the results of AR1.
Then rinse and repeat for each AR (i.e. 2 and 3).
Suggestion 2. When a war is initiated have each side select a supreme commander who is responsible for commanding during the war.
Then work out a time when everyone involved can get together on some sort of online chat/voice call and play out the unit moves, etc in real time until Bob decides that he needs to pause for battle.
Suggestion 3. Play out wars using the sequence of play (p177 Regents Guide) with a strict 24hr response time, if you don't respond in time then Bob acts as he thinks your commander would act.
Personally I like suggestion 3 (I like taking personal control) with campaign plan from suggestion1 being used as a guide for Bob in case people don't respond.

Good suggestions like every time .... i suggest that we open 2 subject of wars : 1 like now ....that speak of the news of campaign for all lords ... even the "outsiders" of this war .... AND one only for the résults reserv only to the ennemies that is the scouts reports on the battle before and after ( we can see the number of ennemies in battle and the number of dead after .... I am not fast player and i always want to known the number before to move .... and sometimes my vassals have the informations that i need .. what do you think of that?

Oh, happy birthday indeed. I had mine the 1st of the month and apparently that makes me exactly half your age. Well. There's a thought.

I think we will go with this idea, both parts, a general campaign plan to guide me if people don't reply within the response time. How is everybody with that?

The problem with that is that not everybody should have access to each report, so I think we will continue to do the actual moves, etc. through PM. I will improve the reporting back of scouting, battle results, etc.

I think we will go with this idea, both parts, a general campaign plan to guide me if people don't reply within the response time. How is everybody with that? Fine by me. I like to have personal control as well, however, should we not be able to: Sketching out a general campaign plan to so you know what our ideas are in case we cannot respond seems like a good idea. After all, when not in direct command you have to trust your commanders follow your campaign outline. And if they don't, well history books are full of those

What with Christmas being right around the corner and all, how is January 25th for the deadline?

The 25th is more than enough, I could do the 15th of January as well for instance. Whatever the others prefer is fine by me.
