At the moment, the conventional spells in play are those from the PHB & the Oriental Adventures supplement, however, that is mostly on the assumption that most of you don't have all the other supplements, I have all but 1 or 2, so there is no reason why other spells would not be allowed. If there is a spell in a supplement you would like access to, just drop me a line to ask, I'll review it and let you know, odds are that unless it is too tied into some milieu specific thing it will be a go. The same goes for feats, though I did go through a lot of the supplements already. Here is a great site for finding stuff, it has, as far as I can tell, just about everything 3,5 reproduced on it: dndtools.eu/rulebooks/

It's a cool site... though it illustrates everything wrong with splat books and system bloat.
My next job may or may not be murder -- I'll let you know in September or October -- but if I have some spare time, I'm hoping to start a rules-as-written BECMI or ACKS game just to revel in the simplicity again.

BECMI - The edition of Dungeons and Dragons defined by the five boxed sets: Basic, Expert, Companion, Master, and Immortals. It followed B/X (the Basic and Expert edition) and preceded RC (Rules Cyclopedia). ACKS (Adventurer, Conqueror, King System) is a retro-clone that closely simulates B/X, BECMI, and RC at low levels (1-6 or so). At the Conqueror and King levels, the rules are fleshed out for establishing a domain and ruling it without gaining a whole lot of complexity or losing the spirit of old-school D&D. I recommend you read this thread in your spare time: forum.rpg.net/showthread.php?676099-B-X-Misadventures-in-randomly-generated-dungeonsIt was hugely entertaining (and inspiring).
