All moves by those involved should be listed in this thread.

The Ikeda opened the war by sailing their fleet out to blockade the Abe capital, but it was intercepted and defeated by the combined Abe-Maeda fleet which was patrolling off the coast of Kisosaki. At the same time, they sent a large mounted force into Kisosaki and a similarly large combined force into Iwate.

The Abe forces in each province marched out to meet the invaders and give battle. The Iida faction of the Nanhoshi Kuniai (Seven Stars Union) garrisons in each province joined the Abe defenders. The Iida also moved their garrison in Noto to Iwate, and that in Tsubame to Kisosaki.

The Abe, calling upon its loyal vassals, prepares to engage in both provinces. Abe Taiyou has made it quite clear that none under the protection of the Abe will be left without honourable defense. The Clan lord is also known to prepare to take to the field himself.

The Lord Watanabe himself has taken the field with a large force and marched to the aid of the Abe in Iwate

The Mori clan of Yamaki have dispatched the Uwatsu Watatsumi no Rentai (Upper Sea Dragon Regiment) to the war zone by sea... will they arrive in time to join the defenders in time for the battle? {OOC: A warcraft roll will be made to see if they do}

Following the crushing defeat of their forces in Iwate, the Ikeda horse go on a rampage, pillaging the province of Kisosaki and then withdrawing into Tsubame. {OOC: Unless of course they are prevented from doing so}

The majority of Abe clan forces, divided in two armies, are marching on Kisosaki to stop the ravaging Ikeda horse.

ok, so the campaign in Kisosaki is effectively a pincer movement, but the units attempting to do the trapping are slow foot and the target force is all cavalry, so an opposed Warcraft roll is called for, with the Ikeda getting a +2. Abe: 7psrs|c_d20+16 Ikeda: d20+17d20+16d20+17

Finally, a result. The Abe forces have effectively entrapped the Ikeda horse and brought them to battle.

The naval landing force (Watanabe/Mori) needs to get a 10 (Base 5 + 5 for enemy troops present). The Watanabe have a +5, the Mori have no bonus. They both presumably take 10 on all the rolls. The Maeda fleet raids the Ikeda capital of Matsusaka, requiring 15. Raid roll: _yttsoxfd20
