I am going to do my darndest to get the updated Turn 1 Status Reports (which include the turn order submission form) out by the 1st, so I thought it appropriate that we discuss the timing and deadlines and such.
I am thinking that we should not be too ambitious regarding the turn around time right at first, give ourselves lots of time, and speed things up later on if we find that doable, so with that in mind, here is what I am proposing.
1. A 2-week deadline for submitting orders. 2. A 2-week period for any in-game interactions to play out any diplomacy, wars, etc. and to finalise the turn.
Does anybody see a problem with this schedule or think it too ambitious?

Looks good to me. You might want to give yourself some time for resolution.

Resolution should take a day or so -- I'm retired, remember, I have bugger all else to do.

Looks good to me to, unless you prefer extensively filled-in order forms

The order form is pretty straight forward. The Orders, Type, and By columns are drop down boxes, and you just put in whatever details needed in the details column, taking as many rows as needed before entering the next action in. Here's a screenshot... Attachments:

It seems user-friendly. Two weeks then it is for me.
